Kiss Me Deadly: 13 Tales of Paranormal LoveEdited by Trisha Telep, this book contains the efforts of 13 authors to portray the other side of love. Recently the world has been flooded with the romance aspect of paranormal relationships: larger than life, fate bringing two people together, conflicts between different supernatural races, and the ever present idea of soul mates. Twilight and teen paranormal dramas have been the main offenders, yet these authors have chosen to showcase the love of paranormal beings in a different light. Instead of sticking to the romance, this group of authors are finding the other manifestations that love uses. They are using a world of shadow and mystery to show how, in a chaotic world where anything is possible, people can reach out and make a lasting connection; and if that connection is called love, then they are providing us with a deeper understanding of this most complicated emotion - love
